The Puddles
Dire weather has kept me very local this Christmas holiday. A start time of 10:10hrs from the roadside on this walk for reasons of fitness, not views or anything else.
The Steps
Very low cloud and I'm about to get a closer look.
The Summit
I think I'm on my own up here, but can't be too sure.
The Greetings
These were the first other walkers I met - this on my way down the track.
The Debate
Well the cloud has lifted by at least 300ft. Is it worth going up again?
Er...no.
Walkers: Just Me.
Time taken: 1hr 2 mins over a distance of about 2.5 miles.
Route: Roadside, up the steps, along to the top and then down the track.
Weather and conditions: Less windy than on Christmas Day, no rain, just low cloud.
Greetings Count: Nil on the way up and on top, then the first group, followed by a few other late starters.
